How to Achieve Weight-Loss & Wellness Goals in 2024: Happy New Year, we hope you had an enjoyable festive season and you are ready to embrace the new year with us with a fresh focus on what personal goals you have set. We’ve reached the one year anniversary of our podcast and reflecting back to our first episode ‘The Most Important Relationship You’ll Have is with Yourself’, we realise this message is as true now as it was then.
The new year is typically a time where we look at our health, diet and lifestyle and set ourselves lofty goals by way of resolutions. And while we embrace the momentum of a fresh start and time for change, the all or nothing approach or unrealistic resolutions could be only setting you up for failure.
Have the stretch goal and big dream by all means, but start small. Regular small changes and steps to your routine will add up to big results, so this new year think of ways you can adapt and change your habits to make big health impacts.
Perhaps set the target of increasing your step count by 1000 for the day, cook a new meal each week using fresh produce from a favourite cookbook, speak kindly to yourself each morning as you look in the mirror or set 10 mins a day aside to take a walk or do some exercise that you enjoy.
