- Follow through – this is an important one. People respect people who do what they say they’re going to do. And you’ll respect yourself if you do what you say. Action gives your words meaning and will help on the path to achieving your goals. If you say you’re going to do something with or for someone or yourself then do it!
- Think long term – big goals require time and sacrifices so you’ll need to dip deep and discipline yourself. It will pay off and the pride and confidence you’ll feel will be worth it. You must decide your long term goal is more important than your short term comfort.
- Don’t care what others think – people can change themselves and the world but not if they listen to naysayers. Believe in yourself and keep going.
- Do more of what makes you happy – whatever you love, create space for it.
Confidence is a belief in yourself, an ability to meet life’s challenges and to succeed and the willingness to get in and do what needs to be done to reach your goals. Trust and believe in yourself.
